A Look at the New NBA Experience
On August 12th the new NBA Experience will be opening to guests at Disney Springs, and today the Disney Parks Blog shared some pictures inside the new venue.
Inside fans will be able to experience what it’s like to walk in the footsteps of NBA and WNBA players by participating in 13 different basketball-related activities.
You can work on your ball-handling skills in Dribble, make a highlight-reel worthy slam with the adjustable rim at Dunk!, challenge your friends at the Pop-A-Shot game inside the Arcade, or test out your basketball knowledge with Trivia.
The fun activities can be done in any order and can be repeated to improve your scores and skills.
Some of the activities are even customized especially for you. When you arrive at the NBA Experience you can choose a nickname and your favorite NBA or WNBA team. Both will stay with you throughout your visit, showing up on leaderboards and signs. Over at Shoot!, the court will transform into your team’s home arena!
You can even choose the basketball size that bests fits in your hand and set your own skill level, so beginners can have a great time as well.
Advance tickets for the NBA Experience are already on sale for $34 (adults) and $29 (kids 3-9) plus tax.
